Tudor Subs

Aug 16, 2011,01:24 AM

From what I know these Tudor subs were originally the experimental and military versions of the Rolexes, so you have the equivalent of the Rolexes, For the early versions, the no crwon gaurg versions from the late 50s, the 7924 which was the French Marine Nationale equivalent of the Rolex 6538 Big Crown, the 7922 equivalent to the 6536, Then in the 60s the crown guard versions like this 7928, equivalent to a Rolex 5513.

They are nice alternatives to the Rolexes, with a slight visual difference on the dial, I like the round writing, they are also a more low key version so somehow more confidential, and more affordable as the Tudors can usually be found from 30% to 50% less than the Rolex equivqlent.

I hope this helps

Matt

I went to the beach and took some pictures this morning These little crabs are really difficult to shoot, not only are they very fast and shy but they perfectly match the colors of the rocks! thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed these holiday shots Mat...

Very enjoyable shots [nt]
