Mixed Reaction to the new Bulgari Diagono watches

Chronograph

The Bulgari Diagono Chronograph looks like a good prospect for someone interested in a BVLGARI chronograph watch. The movement is based on a classic....some say iconic.....specialised chronograph movement that should give great 'feel' if adjusted well. Some may be 'restricted' by a chronograph with 1/6th seconds best resolution but nobody in the 21st century measures fractions of a second with a mechanical device anyway

The key point is the thinner movement of an integrated chronograph allows an elegant case proportion.

Lunar Display

From a functional perspective, the moon phase display (pointer) that Bulgari employs for the Diagono Calendar watch allows better estimate of the Moon age in the cycle......waxing or waning. The traditional peep show of moon face is more romantic and visually representative of the Moon cycle but almost impossible to guess the actual phase except for the Full moon and New moon days. Anything in-between is guess work.

Personally, I like the romantic face of the Moon peeping from the clouds but that IS a personal choice.
