I have been trying to make a similar list

and also implement it. I have used my wife as the guinea pig in my trial to make a good collection for a lady.

My list is as follows:

1. Breguet Reine de Naples, WG
2. Patek Philippe Calartava, WG
3. Rolex Yach-Master, SS/Pt.
4. JLC Reverso Duo, SS
5. Vintage Patek Philippe, YG
6. Vintage Rolex dress watch, enamel dial, YG
7. Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse, golden bracelet, YG
8. JLC Reverso Duetto Duo, YG

Those are my best watches for my woman. My criteria were that because she's wearing both WG & YG, I am getting both. Rolex is for leisure activities, just like the SS JLC. But i.e. now she came home from the university and is wearing blue jeans and a blue-dialled Patek Calatrava.

I wanted to have all of the watches with a mechanical movement, preferably in house.

My wife's wrist is made of chicken bones so I needed to get smallish watches. Patek Philippe as in the picture and Rolex represent the vintage world.

We just spoke over the lunch and noticed that we have today been together for four years. So I guess the above is just the beginning. But what's next?

Best, Kari

I would add Harry Winston and VC&A watches to your list.
