I looked at her as she got into the car. She looked back and said “I’m in; let’s go”. But I didn’t move…
She had forgotten that she was wearing my new Breguet 7097 that she had picked up for me. I hadn’t seen it yet and I wasn’t going to start the engine until it was truly mine and on my wrist.
I looked at her again and this time she got it. She rolled up her sleeve and there it was. Dark and mysterious against her smooth silky skin.
I’m not often moved so deeply by a watch, and even after 1 month of ownership I struggle to put my feelings into words.
But if I should make an attempt, then it would be this. The watch arouses all my senses (except smell) and also my curiosity. There is a new perspective, a new shimmer, a new technicality every time I look at it.
This mix of traditional architecture, case construction and guillochage, but with mono-colouration is mesmerising. It’s cool, elegant and coherent despite a crazy mix of colours, openings and design languages.
A great watch and a lot of pleasure!
