The PuristS’ family of horology and luxury websites (ThePuristS.com and PuristSPro.com) is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2011, with a gathering of PuristS, friends, watchmakers and sponsors. A number of watchmakers and brands are issuing limited edition or piece unique watches to commemorate a decade of PuristS independence on the horological scene.

“PuristS will be stunned that DeWitt is making a high-end and high value timepiece like the DeWitt PuristS 10th Twenty-8-Eight Tourbillon to celebrate our 10th anniversary", said Dr Melvyn Teillol-Foo (PuristSPro CEO), continuing: “I guess it is a tribute to their almost bespoked processes that a unique PuristS version can be designed; I particularly like the way they removed extraneous wording around the tourbillon and incorporated some PuristS touches like our theme colours and lucky numbers 1-7-8 that sounds like our credo in Chinese: 'All Together We Prosper'. In the PuristS community, we all win with the sharing of passion and information".

Jerome DeWitt (Founder) explained, “As a longstanding and passionate watch collector, I am very pleased that DeWitt is joining the PuristS community. We will be more than happy to share our philosophy and perception of luxury watchmaking with all the PuristS followers… starting with those attending the upcoming 10th anniversary celebration in Las Vegas. On this occasion, we will present some of our masterpieces and concept watches, as well as a special PuristS 10th declination of our first 100% in-house Tourbillon movement (Calibre DW 8028) with a DeWitt “chocolate-brown” dial… and a unique PuristS twist.”

Availability
DeWitt PuristS 10th Twenty-8-Eight watches will be available initially to PuristS at the 10th Anniversary Party (IGOTT-2). The watch will be presented at IGOTT-2 on 30th May 2011. IGOTT-2 attendees will get priority before the rest of the PuristS worldwide.

International Gathering of the Tribe 2 (IGOTT-2), LAS VEGAS, 30 May to 02 June 2011
