Thanks. This is such a shame. I do really like this watch. I will be sending the Octo in for the repair again tomorrow. I plan to talk to them to escalate this matter to their HQ. Hopefully they can do a permanent fix this time. It is not normal for a watch crown to be so delicate and so easily detached. I have many watches and none have this problem. Sigh...

I have not heard of this happening to any other Octos. Hopefully you can get it resolved for good and not have this happen again.

If me was you I would seek to do an exchange for a different model. Looks like you are the 1st to realize a serious glitch in the design, which cannot be rectified even after service. Most watches have this. E.g. The ceramic bezels of submariners sometime...
