I know for sure, since I was in Rome last year, that the 303 standard version went thru like over s series of 100 or more renderings on both paper and cad.
The choices for the colors of gold, even the shade and depth of dial cut, how thick the relative dial parts to each other, were discussed ad nauseum.
Remember that I am not a press visitor, neither a customer, but as a confidential friend of the brand, in that capacity...I saw how much work had been done to preserve, yet evolve 303 as a "bulgari" piece.
Now, to make an alteration to the 303..will take away from that..but it is a clever strategic move to acquire the 100 pieces ahead of everyone.
I guess, I personally would take the genetically purer piece.
