the best looking dive watch out there ?

Some pics of the iconic Blancpain 50 fathoms ... 45 MM Yes 45 ! I understand why they made a 42,6 but come on ... this just has to be 45! After all it wears smaller on the wrist but of course I won't say its small But If you're used to bigger watches or you have a good wrist, do NOT hesitate Not eve

Fun with straps - or horrifying the WIS 😁

I know there are those who carry a wooden stake and a clove of garlic around against NATO straps and some feel putting a leather strap on a dive watch is sacrilegious. I am known for consuming lots of sheep and goat hair in my straps generally but felt that putting leather on a G-Shock was a must tr

Bodega Bay, California. Same inlet but two completely different angles and techniques.

Normal exposure 60 second exposure which will blend the motion of the clouds and waves into fantastical colors.

GP and AP had the same owners

From the Archives ... What if I told you that the owners of Girard-Perregaux in the 1980s also owned part of Audemars Piguet? Yep, Desco von Schulthess or DESCO for short owned 100 % of GP in the 1980s. DESCO bought over GP from the daughter and son-in-law of Otto Graef in 1979. DESCO held a signifi

I was quite sure that Lange did not begin producing any of the plastic "credi

Strap changing tool for gold watches?

Searching for a strap changing tool recently, all of the ones I've seen appear to have steel tips. I would have assumed there would be tools with softer tips for gold watches to avoid scratches? What do you all use for changing a strap on a gold watch?

White Birch fans?

Have to say that I was immediately sold on it when it came out and while I needed to wait a bit to get to where mine was waiting for me it’s been a pleasure ever since. Some have had issues with the accuracy but mine has been perfect in that respect. The dial gets most attention, being the most ‘in

Does anyone here have experience with an INEOS Grenadier?

I've known about the vehicle project for some time, and growing less and less interested in the Cybertruck, I'm looking in other directions. This is the dream of Jim Ratcliffe who owns INEOS, a conglomerate of 20+ companies primarily chemicals. Sketched out over drinks in the Grenadier pub in London
