Horological Meandering: Here's mine....

I bought the display sign in a watch fair in Basel as a souvenir of my visit to Baselworld. I don't know for sure if it matches the date of my '83 sub but I really liked it. I've been waiting for an excuse to post it!

Rolex: Yes it has pointed crown guards...

The serial number between the lugs is 869834. The colour of the hour markers is off white and the hands match exactly and the font is white with 4 lines. The watch is coming up in an auction and I wondered if I should go for it. The auction house will not open the caseback. It is listed as a 1962 55

Could any of the Rolex experts kindly answer the following. Is it possible to have a genuine original 1962 Sub 5513 with a matt dial and feet first? Would this indicate that the dial has been changed? Many thanks. Paul.
