Question regarding 317 vs 335??? again...

 By: PHK : April 2nd, 2011-06:41
Dear fellows. I have read almost all the threads regarding 317 vs 335. I understood all the pros and cons between them.......I am going to pull the trigger towards 335 in coming week.......As I just love it... But still one information I could not find - ...

335 should be thicker as its automatic...

but the difference is not significant

Actually, I believe 317 is thicker...

At least when you compare the movements, P.2004 is thicker already. If you go to the Panerai web site and click on the in-house movements, you can see the size on the P2003 vs. P2004. P.2003 is 31mm x 8mm large. P.2004 is 31mm x 8.2mm. I had a 270 before ...

Thanks blue and nacho...

The thickness shouldn't be much different...

I like the 335 as it has a much cleaner dial, only is that I wished it also has an 8 day manual wind movement... But great choice on the 335..! Congrats and we're looking forward to see your 335 Best, Sam

thickness aside

I don't know if one is thicker than the other; but if one is, it's probably not by much as mentioned by others above already. Cheers, Anthony

either choice, i'm sure you'll enjoy the unique presence of ceramic luminor on wrist

but then a K series 317 will give you more pleasure if you also enjoy seeing it's PVD movements. I certainly do! j
