I have to agree with Bernard.
The dial design does take some getting used to, but the construction of the dial is impressive for a Bvlgari watch. What I found even more notable was the case, the finish of the case and bracelet is excellent; the detailing of the area around the crown - pushers, crownguards - is a good example of the casework.
The use of varying brushed finishes is also very well executed, particularly on the bracelet which has a fine vertical brushing on the middle links and a coarser horizontal brushing on the outer links.
I was especially impressed by the engraving and the text in relief on the caseback, even under magnification all of that is very, very cleanly done.
The only thing I would have changed in terms of construction is to have a bracelet with screwed links, instead of friction-fit pins, but overall the watch is outstanding, even more so considering it's from a jeweller, rather than an company that is known for highly engineered watches (think IWC or Sinn).
I must also mention I was fairly surprised by the price point of the watch. Consider the case/bracelet/dial, coupled with the Piguet 1185 inside which is not an inexpensive movement (several times the price of a 7750 or 2894), the price is extremely attractive, especially in comparison to the competition in the same price bracket - Breitling, Omega, Hublot, IWC. Bravo to Bvlgari and thanks to Bernard to bringing this to our attention.
